NJ NOTARY PUBLIC

What is a Notary Public?

According to the State of New Jersey, a "Notary Public is a public officer who serves as an impartial witness to the signing of documents and to the acknowledgement of signatures on documents. A Notary Public may also administer oaths and affirmations. A duly appointed New Jersey Notary Public is authorized to perform notary services throughout the State of New Jersey (state.nj.us/treasury/revenue, Accessed 02/17/22)."


NOTARY SERVICES

In New Jersey, I am duly commissioned and qualified (sworn) and authorized legally, to perform the following duties in any county in New Jersey:


  • Administer oaths (spoken pledges) and affirmations (solemn declarations)
  • Take acknowledgments (identifies or witnesses) of signers
  • Execute jurats (certificate of office or person) for affidavits and other verifications
  • Take proofs of deeds
  • Execute protests (formal declaration) for non-payment or non-acceptance

Since 2018, I've been a Notary Public.. In the Garden State, I travel from Bergen to Middlesex County, to work with my clients. I've helped with documents for life topics, such as, power of attorney, retirement, and real estate.
